Enabling local number portability – mandated by the Federal Communications Commission – is a basic aspect of doing business of every carrier in the local exchange market. Implementing local number portability requires – service providers to exchange data with regional Number Portability Administrator Centers (NPACs) each time a customers changes providers.

For a Service Provider, the LNP process involves informing the regional NPAC about New Service Provider (NSP) and specifying the date on which a customer’s number will be ported.

ezNumberPort  is a Service Ordering Administration (SOA) gateway application which communicates with Number Portability Administration Centers (NPACs) at it’s primary and secondary locations. This gateway is used to create or release ported telephone numbers between service providers networks or within service provider networks whether they are wireless, wireline, or wireline-to-wireless (intermodal) requests.
