Service Offering

Gateway Products and ezSupport Provides Web-Based Customer
Support
LAS VEGAS, TMW, Oct. 29, 2002—DSET Corp., (NASDAQ:
DSET) one of the industry’s premier sources of electronic
bonding gateways and Operations Support System (OSS) solutions
for global, multi-vendor networks and telecommunications providers
announced today ezConnector, a new gateway product enabling
competitive local exchange providers (CLEC) to streamline
the processing of orders with trading partners and improve
customer satisfaction. DSET also introduced ezSupport, a new
web-based customer support system that accelerates the delivery
of support services to customers.
ezConnector will be demonstrated at DSET’s Booth #
611 at TeleManagement World conference and exhibition held
October 28 through October 31, 2002 at the Mirage Events Center
in Las Vegas.
ezConnector integrates DSET’s ezPreOrder and ezLocal
electronic bonding gateway products in the standalone graphical
user interface (GUI). This latest leading edge gateway solution
automates the process of obtaining pre-order information from
the Customer Service Record (CSR) through the latest version
of DSET’s ezPreOrder application, and automatically
posts that information directly on to the local service request
(LSR) order in the updated version of the company’s
ezLocal gateway application. ezConnector eliminates the time-consuming
manual steps of retrieving and re-entering data from the CSR
helping to reduce overhead expenses and minimize errors that
can delay transactions and lower customer satisfaction.
ezSupport, a secure, password-protected web portal, allows
customers to access technical documentation, new releases
of products, as well as software patches and fixes, from the
Internet. ezSupport can be accessed using a standard web browser.
Troubleshooting functionality is scheduled to be included
in the next release of ezSupport.

ezConnector will be available in mid-December under DSET’s
ezRental Program. ezSupport is currently available and is
free to all customers with current maintenance contracts.
