DSET Ships New Version of ezLongDistance
Gateway
Bridgewater, NJ - April 30, 2001 - (Nasdaq: DSET) - DSET
Corporation today announced the availability of a new version
of its ezLongDistance gateway. ezLongDistance helps to ensure
that the customers of competitive local service providers
also receive service from the long-distance carriers they
have chosen by automating the exchange of data between local
and long-distance providers.
ezLongDistance 2.1 features a CORBA interface that can make
integration with a competitive carrier's order management
system faster and more efficient. In addition, the gateway's
graphical user interface now supports completely bi-directional
data exchange. This can help to accelerate the process of
ensuring that a new customer's long-distance calls are handled
as requested, and that service is quickly switched when a
customer decides to change long-distance providers.
As with all DSET solutions, the Java-based ezLongDistance
2.1 gateway complies with the latest relevant industry standards.
The new version is fully compliant with CARE ISI 10, industry
guidelines issued by the Subscription Committee of the Ordering
and Billing Forum.
"ezLongDistance 2.1 is just one of the new products that we
plan to introduce in 2001," said Jimmy Jobe, DSET's senior
vice president of product development and product management.
"We've already announced the enhanced version of our ASR gateway,
and there will be other significant product announcements
throughout the year, including important news about our ezLocal
ordering gateway."

customer satisfaction and less customer turnover. DSET provides
the installation, training, interoperability-testing, and
maintenance services needed to put TPNs into production and
maintain efficient operation. DSET is headquartered in Bridgewater,
