DSET Upgrades Partnership;
Successfully Integrates DSET ezTroubleAdmin with Siebel eBusiness
Applications
Bridgewater, NJ, June 11, 2001 - DSET Corporation (Nasdaq:
DSET) today announced that it has joined the Siebel Alliance
Program as a Premier Software Partner and that it has successfully
validated the integration of the DSET ezTroubleAdmin gateway
with Siebel eCommunications. Siebel Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:
SEBL) is the world's leading provider of eBusiness applications
software. This is the first DSET product to be validated by
the Siebel Validation Program.
Siebel eCommunications is a comprehensive suite of
eBusiness applications designed specifically for the communications
and media industry. It allows organizations to manage, synchronize,
and coordinate customer interactions across all customer touchpoints,
including the Web, call center, field, and distribution channels.
Designed in close collaboration with the world's leading service
providers, Siebel eCommunications delivers unparalleled functionality
and can be easily integrated with billing, OSS, and ERP systems.
The DSET ezTroubleAdmin gateway automates the exchange of
trouble tickets between communications providers and trading
partners to minimize the costs associated with trouble management
and reduce the mean time to trouble repair. Integrating the
DSET ezTroubleAdmin solution and Siebel eCommunications
tightly couples the trouble-management processes of providers
and their trading partners. Notable benefits of this integration
include improved coordination of service calls, greater accuracy
and timeliness of information exchange, and more efficient
tracking of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
"The integration of Siebel eCommunications and ezTroubleAdmin
allows service providers and enterprise customers to more
efficiently and more effectively manage communications networks,"
said John Scheifele, Director of Strategic Alliances at DSET.
"Leveraging this pre-integrated solution will minimize the
time necessary to deploy these applications, which will provide
our joint customers with a lower total cost of ownership than
with other applications."
"Through this validated solution, DSET and Siebel Systems
can provide joint customers with a compatible, seamless solution
for managing network trouble, " said Michael Straub, Director
Alliances Technical Services for Siebel Systems. "Due to this
alliance, DSET and Siebel Systems will continue to work closely
together to deliver solutions that maximize customer satisfaction."
