Implementation

Implementation is the actual installation, configuration, and testing of your DSET products. The expert Field Engineers assigned to your project will carry out all of the technical tasks for which DSET is responsible. Some of these tasks are:

• Providing a "Product Responsibilities Checklist" that details all customer and DSET responsibilities. Included is a set of hardware and third-party software requirements specific to each purchased product.
  
  
• Confirming that all of a customer's implementation responsibilities are met.
  
  
• Performing product installation and configuration.
  
  
• Testing the operation of stand-alone or integrated products to ensure inter-operability of the product with the front-end (OSS or GUI) and the back-end (Trading Partner Interfaces).
  
  
• Performing back-up installation after a product is fully functional
  
  
• Shutting down systems and bringing them back up after installation is completed to re-verify operations.
  
  
• Performing appropriate inter-operability testing.
  
  
• Providing appropriate expertise for integration of DSET products with third-party or customer operations support system (OSS) and turn-up testing with trading partners
